This album is showcases a subjective view on life, realized in a sensual musical language which tells of the experiences of this Swiss musician. Especially impactful was the time he spent in Buenos Aires, where he studied with Daniel Hector Montes. The piece \u201cPreludio de Buenos Aires\u201d takes us into the incomparable atmosphere of Argentine\u2019s capital city.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cEl Rio de las Estrellas\u201d tells of night-time impressions under clear, star-studded skies over the Atacama desert. And pieces like \u201cLa Flor del Amor\u201d thematize great love and passion. There is no question about it: Gubelmann brought something of the \u201cPiazzolla gene\u201d with him from Argentina. He is also influenced by John Coltrane and Alexander Scriabin.
